A busy few weeks of meetings over the summer as Josh gave talks at the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) Annual Meeting in Los Angeles followed by a seminar at the EMBO Workshop "Limb Development and Regeneration: New Tools for a Classic Model System" in sunny Barcelona!
Had a fantastic time in Portland for the Society for Developmental Biology Annual Meeting. Fantastic talks and a great time with colleagues. The conference was preceded by a New Faculty Bootcamp at Reed College.

We're live in Toronto! The lab is still working through renovations in Ramsay Wright Laboratories, but excited to hit the ground running - ordering all the things and filling out all the forms :-D

And just like that, six months later we received a positive funding decision for our NSERC Discovery Grant! We'll be funded for five years to study spatial organization of the blastema.
Josh's postdoctoral work was featured in the 2017 'Best of' issue of Developmental Cell!

Able to share live imaging data to the great community of the International Socitey for Stem Cell Research at Boston June 14-17th. Wonderful meeting, great session, and a diverse set of researchers from around the world.
